Sarah’s goals for each session are to decrease pain and improve function; to empower clients within and outside of the treatment time; and to increase attention to body-mind connections. Sarah uses a combination of slow and gentle techniques along with more intense structure-specific massage, and some cooperative movement-based work.
Accessibility for every client is fundamentally important to Sarah’s approach to treatment. Accommodating mobility issues and positional or other needs is an important part of how she works. She welcomes clients with complex health concerns, those recovering from injury or surgery, people who are pregnant or recovering from childbirth, and anyone who just wants to feel better in their body.
